I have always had a love for flowers, both growing and arranging. My grandparents had an allotment where they would grow their own and sell them in bunches from outside their home in rural Bedfordshire. So I grew up surrounded by them!
Originally training as a microbiologist and then working in the construction industry, I loved my jobs but felt my creative side wasn’t being fulfilled, so I ventured into the beautiful world of floristry.
As a grower, nature has always inspired my floristry style, harnessing the beauty of the blooms and adding a touch of wild. I try to be as sustainable as possible, avoiding floral foam and working with seasonal, local flowers when available.
When choosing British blooms, you are picking character, scent and sustainability over chemicals, air miles and uniformity. In my opinion the choice is easy!
